About the Artist
Colin Thompson
After more than 40 years as an art director, illustrator and animator on some of the biggest brands in London and Scotland, I swapped the city for the fells of Cumbria. These days, I pour all that experience into artwork with a sense of humour.
Every design starts with a simple idea—a grumpy cat, a not-so-innocent rabbit, a devil having a stretch. The animals, the landscape and the daily oddities of life up here all find their way onto my mugs, tees and prints. The result? Pieces that are bold, original, and guaranteed to raise a smile every time you reach for your morning brew.
